International Practicum Teaching Placements

United TESOL International College of Techign Training Inc. recognizes the magnitude of responsibility placed upon a training college to offer its student teachers the most extensive, yet practical teacher training experience possible.

Drawing upon the experience and standards of the Ontario College of Techers, UTIC is proud to offer all graduates the most professionally-sound international practicum teaching placement available.

All international practicum teaching placements enable individual student teachers the opportunity to work exclusively under the guidance and leadership of experienced English mentor teachers abroad. Host international associate schools and mentor techers are carefully selected and are committed to the professional development of each student teacher placed within their school.

Standard international practicum teaching placements are 4 weeks in duration, with a minimum of 120 hours of guided classroom teching, lesson planning, resource development and evaluations.

Upon the successful completion of the overseas practicum teaching placement, TESOL graduates are at liberty to accept paid positions with host associate schools.

Through UTIC's vast network of international associates, colleagues, and ambassadors, we can offer participating graduates the opportunity to live wit local families while on placement. A phenominal opportunity to learn first-hand about the lives, culture and language of a people you will soon learn to teach.

Practicum placements are available globally and are exclusive to UTIC graduates alone.
